Investigators and Cows

Bom dia, gente.

I hope that you are all doing well and had a wonderful week. This was an interesting one full of ups and downs. We were able to find 10 new people to teach this week, but this only happened because many of the people we´re already teaching are sick, on vacation, or simply are never home. But it´s always exciting to find people who really have been searching for the truth and want to hear what we have to say. On Saturday, Sister Ortiz and I miraculously ran into two people on the street that we had previously been teaching. For various reasons, we haven´t been able to teach them anymore, but the Lord was merciful and placed them in our path, and we can teach them again! It´s amazing to see how Heavenly Father really is a God of second, third, and infinite chances.

Thankfully, it was much cooler this week because of the rain. This week is the last week of the transfers which is kinda crazy and kind of sad. I would love to stay here in Enseada with Sister Ortiz for another transfer, but the Lord knows what´s best for us. And it´s not always what we want, but actually something we don´t know yet. We just need to make the best of the week.

A quick explanation about the photos. The cows live across the street from us, and every once in a while we pet them and feed them weeds. But for like 2 weeks they disappeared and it was very sad. But they returned! So we took pictures. Thanks for taking the time to read my emails and write to me. I love you all, and I´m grateful for your support, love, and prayers. Até próximo p-day.

Tchau,
Sister Herron
