Sister Alves completed 18 months the same day that I had one year, so we had a festinha in our district council. Elder Miller made sugar cookies of our names so that was yummy. Also this is the dream dessert. basically a creamfilled donut.
This week was a really good week. We found lots of good people to teach! We taught a rapaz named Arthur who was really excited about the Book of Mormon, and he said that he would read it all. Probably before our next visit. We´ll see, but that would be super awesome.
This week I was thinking a lot about how everybody is different. Which is kind of obvious, but at the same time without thinking we sometimes forget. We get into routines of treating everybody the same, but everybody has different needs, different ways of thinking. Maybe one thing we say to someone is a compliment, but for someone else it´s an insult. Or we say something to help someone and it works, but with someone else, it doesn´t. That´s why it´s so important that we can have the gift of the Holy Ghost. There isn´t a set way to be perfect, so we need to be obedient to the revelation that we receive. That´s all. I love you all, and Deus te cuida.
